Dunsborough Hermitage is quality self-contained private accommodation within 200m of the beach on Geographe Bay in Dunsborough.
The beach close to the house is excellent for children because it’s shallow and has the safety of the sand bar. A great spot for building sand castles, splashing and playing and a rocky area where they can discover creatures and make pools in which to place the little creatures and shells they find, and a short walk further around the bay there is a sheltered swimming area with deeper water for the more assured swimmer and a pontoon to venture out to.
With fishing, boating (there are two boat launching ramps with 10 minutes’ drive of the house) several children’s play areas and exercise equipment in the parks all at your finger-tips. You can also enjoy lovely long walks along the dual use pathway that skirt the beach parks along the edge of the bay.
Alternatively, take a quick walk, only 700m, up to town to buy the morning paper and have your morning coffee in one of the many coffee shops that open early in the morning to cater for the walkers and cyclists that meet up after their morning exercise routine.
Or for the more energetic, cycle along the dual use pathway, which has recently been completed with a new bridge across Toby’s Inlet, that gives access to cycle all the way into Busselton without the need to ride on the road.
Dunsborough is situated in the heart of the Margaret River Region!
